My name is Inak Martin Jules delegate general of ASAD Cameroon and the promoter of the CEFAF of Bertoua 
Since several years, the question of the right of women saw a lot of progress.
But there are still practices which remain worrying. It is the case of girls of East Cameroon that sparked up the creation of the CEFAF of Bertoua.

The girl from Eastern Cameroon is also known  on the aspect of early school dropout due to early pregnancy and early childbirth, idleness, the search for easy money.

The family´weak financial situation that tends rather to favor male children.Through ASAD with the support of the partner VIA DON BOSCO, I decided to open the CEFAF of Bertoua that is the Alternating Training Center for young Women.

This is for me, my own contribution to fight this scourge through socio-professional training offering them a job.
So, it started with a field study to see how ready the young girls were to undertake a training and to show them the benefits of a training. The result was positive and this facilitated the project.

The center was born in 2015 and trained on fields like: sewing, esthetic and hairs makeup, hotel and restauration, food processing and to become a secretary.
This training is much more practical because we want that all the girls that go out of the center be instantly operational.

After the training, at the disposal of our means we help these girls to move on their own accounts or find a job.
In the future we intend to integrate young boys in the centre to also help them to become autonomous.
Currently we have trained  more than one hundred girls and most them have either got a job or become independent entrepreneurs. 

As we all know, “ TO TRAIN THE YOUTH IS TO ENSURE THE FUTURE OF THE NATION ”
