Music: Food for the Soul
Once you trust in yourself, you can achieve all of your dreams.
Hello. Greetings from Kimberly Adela Fajardo Jiménez, student of the NUFED Center No. 14. I'm originally from the village Timiluya in the municipality San Agustín Acasaguastlán, in the department of El Progreso.
In my family music is a tradition passed down from parents to children. What motivated me the most was my father, picks up the guitar in the afternoons and plays it.
Once I asked him this question: "Father, is it difficult to learn to play the guitar?" And he answered me: "No, because once you have confidence in yourself, you can achieve everything you set your mind to."
By the grace of God, my parents gave me the opportunity to study at NUFED. It has led me to discover, along with my brother, the desire for music. Upon joining, we had the opportunity and the experience of playing in the band that was started in 2014. This enabled us to develop our skills and to get to know other places where we have gone to share the knowledge we have acquired. Currently, I am in third grade and the instrument I play is a lyre.
I feel fortunate to share moments of happiness with my teachers, and at the same time very proud, because thanks to them I am now a person with musical experience and it inspires me to fulfill my desires.
I aim to be an objective person, keeping in mind that goals are achieved with effort, interest, and will. But always in the hands of our creator.
